Wallpaper Installation Guide

Take a measurement of your wallpaper's width.

This measurement will serve as a guide for when you install your wallpaper. Quickly measure the distance with a tape measure, then record the result in writing so you won’t forget it.

On the wall, note how wide the wallpaper is

Mark the wallpaper’s width at the border where it will go on your wall using your tape measure.

Remove the first piece's backing by peeling off 3 inches (7.6 cm).

It’s better to work in tiny portions while applying peel-and-stick wallpaper than to remove the backing all at once.

Attach the piece's top to the top

Attach the piece’s top to the top of the wall close to the ceiling (or the edge where you’ll be applying). It will be far simpler to proceed top down than bottom up.

Peel off the remaining backing gradually in chunks of 3 inches (7.6 cm).

Press the wallpaper firmly onto the wall and use your hands to smooth it out from the centre to the edges.

Smooth the wallpaper

To get rid of bubbles, use a whiteboard eraser to smooth the wallpaper of bubbles.

Prick them with a tiny pin.

To eliminate the air bubbles, prick them with a tiny pin. Your rubber won’t be able to remove all of the stubborn air bubbles. Should that be the case, take a tiny pin and carefully pierce the bubble’s centre. Then, flatten the air bubble inside the paper by using your fingers to smooth it out.
